I had no idea whatsoever about the content of the Path into Light seminar. What we would learn, who would be there, what was the timeline… It was all a mystery. Roko only said that I would explore myself on a deeper level, gain clarity on my life purpose and experience a lot of healing through this seminar. I had full trust and faith in Roko at this point, so right away, without any questions asked, I said ‘yes I will be there’. After the seminar I understood why Roko didn’t give any information about the seminar. Because it is impossible to explain this seminar with words. You just have to experience it.
There are some experiences in life that are impossible to put into words. Imagine watching a gorgeous sunset on the beach with the incredible sun, with all its beauty and power sinking into ocean. A sunset that takes you closer to or maybe even merges you with God. It is so gorgeous that you want to share it with loved ones and so you take a picture. Then you look at the picture and it is not even close to the beauty of the real scene. Pictures never do justice to the real beauty of life. No matter from what angle, under what light, and with what camera you take the picture of a magical sunset, it is impossible for a picture to reflect the same power and beauty of a real sunset. Even the most beautiful picture is a fake and cheap version of the real one.
Similar to this, trying to describe this seminar with words is going to be a fake and cheap version of the real one no matter how hard I try to put it into words. It is simply not possible. This is also when I understood why Roko doesn’t really say much sometimes or if anything at all about certain experiences. What can one say for some of the incredible beauties or powerful experiences in life? Any word, any sentence will be an injustice to it. That is why I am not going to try to describe what was the seminar about cause that would be doing an injustice to the experience of it. But I will share how I found my dream, my life purpose in this seminar and how it showed me the way on my journey.

Roko and Irma put us in deep meditation and took us to our happy place during one of the sessions in seminar. The moment I closed my eyes I followed a light coming out from my heart and I arrived to this small village in a lush forest. At first I was flying over it and I saw about 10-15 small wood houses scattered throughout the forest in the village. Right in the middle there was the village square and in the middle of the square there was a big fire lighting. I landed in the square and all the people living in the village started to come out. They were all the people I loved the most in my life. All the people that I’ve dreamed of living together. Here we were, we were living together in the commune that I’ve always dreamed of. Living in a simple way that is good for us, for each other, and for all the living beings on earth in harmony with nature, just the way I dreamed. And on this night we were coming together around the fire for our weekly celebration party. Every week on a Friday night we were dancing around the fire, singing loudly together until we were exhausted from dancing. This night was our night to celebrate the heaven we created on this earth. A celebration of everything we have. A celebration of love and light and the fire in our souls. While we were dancing all the birds came, flying over us. Dogs came running around the fire. They were dancing with us. This was a magical village. We had special gifts and talents. We were able to communicate with animals, with plants and trees and we all had special healing powers. This was a village of love, compassion, healing and joy. We danced all night and at the end of the night we finished our dancing by jumping over the fire. Then we all ran down to the beach and went into the ocean, swimming in love and gratitude. Right at this moment Roko and Irma started taking us out of the meditation and taking us back into our bodies.
During the meditation, the phrase ‘heaven on earth’ kept popping up in my mind. This village was a little heaven on earth and it was an example that heaven can be and is here on this earth. It was a proof that another way of living, working, being, co-existing and co-creating is possible. When I opened my eyes I knew this village and the way I felt here is my dream. This was a healing village that is full of magic, where we were able to heal ourselves, each other and anyone who needed healing could come for a visit and stay however long they needed. This was a village governed by love, kindness and compassion. This was where we brought heaven on earth, where we created the heaven that is already within us.

How impossible, unrealistic and out of reach it sounds when I tell it like this. We have convinced ourselves that dreams are not real. We have believed they are somewhere over in this impossible land of future. So much so that sometimes in order to describe something that is unrealistic, we say ‘well it is just a dream.’ As if dreams cannot be real. I refuse this. Dreams are real. The dream is the most real thing that exists. So much so that only the dream is real.* (Quoted from an amazing book on how we create our own reality by dreaming and the dream is the only reality: The School for Gods - Stefano D’Anna)
When I opened my eyes I knew this was my dream and I knew in my heart that it was already real. It was just waiting for me. The only thing for me to do was to get on my path and enjoy every moment of the journey getting there. I could see there was a magical journey ahead of me. And I was so incredibly excited for my journey. That’s when I also understood that dream is not a destination point. Dream is both the destination and the journey. Destination and journey are not separate, they are one and whole. And so journey itself is the dream. We are mistaken when we think the destination point is the dream and journey is here to take us there. Journey does not exist for the dream, journey is the dream. You don’t choose your journey based on the destination. You choose a destination because the path to the destination is a beautiful journey. You don’t start by choosing a destination, you start by choosing a path. Therefore every moment you’re spending on your journey, on your path is a dream coming true.
That does not mean it is always gonna be easy, it can be and for sure in times will be hard but it will always be beautiful and that is why you won’t give up. Then your dream becomes your everyday reality. Then you start living in the dream. Your dream becomes true every present moment. Then you don’t even worry about arriving the destination or not. If you’re already living your dream everyday, every moment, why would you worry about the future? Then the future becomes only a servant to the present moment. If you’re living your dream every moment of your journey, then you stay on your path. And because of that, it is always certain that you will also arrive. You don’t stay on the path to arrive, you stay on the path because you love it and it is your dream. But with that you will also certainly arrive. And when you arrive, it will just be a bonus. No more than just a cherry on top.
Since the day I met Roko and he reminded me that I was creating my reality everyday, I have been living my dream and that is because I consciously choose to live my dream everyday. The dream I saw in the meditation was not only about the vision of the village. The dream was about the soul of the village -and the soul of the village was love, kindness, compassion, joy and community. Every day, every moment I am choosing love, kindness, compassion, joy and sharing it, I am living my dream. Therefore I also knew at that point what my life purpose was. It was sharing and expanding love, kindness, compassion and joy in the world regardless of the circumstances. That was it. It was this simple. A friend of mine shared a beautiful note on social media whose author is unknown:
‘What is my purpose in life?’ I asked the void.
‘What if I told you that you fulfilled it when you took an extra hour to talk to that kid about his life?’ said the voice. ‘Or when you paid for that young couple in the restaurant? Or when you saved that dog in traffic? Or when you tied your father’s shoes for him?’
‘Your problem is that you equate your purpose with goal-based achievement. The universe isn’t interested in your achievement… just your heart. When you choose to act out of kindness, compassion and love, you are already aligned with your true purpose. No need to look any further!’
After this beautiful insight, Roko and Irma put us into another meditation. In this one we connected to different guiding spirits to receive messages about our spiritual journey. One of these spirits was Agni who is the God of fire. Agni means fire in Sanskrit. It is also the spiritual name of Roko and Irma’s teacher who is the founder of this spiritual tradition of Path into Light. He lives half of the year in Santa Fe, US and half of the year in Amritabha which is the center of tradition in France. When I connected to Agni in my meditation, I heard him saying ‘come and see me.’
Therefore when I got home after the seminar, I got on google and searched for Agni. During my search, I found the website of the center in France. When I got on the website, the first page I saw was Agni’s message. His message was: ‘bringing heaven on earth.’ The phrase that kept popping up in my mind during my meditation. I knew at that moment that I had to go and see him. I found him on Facebook and I messaged him: ‘Hi Agni! I’m Didem from Istanbul, Turkey. I just finished path into light seminar with Roko and Irma. I’d like to ask my spiritual name and I also would love to come and meet you in Santa Fe if you accept me and if it is the right time.’ He replied to my message the next day: ‘I will see you in Santa Fe.’
That’s how I found myself with Agni in Santa Fe, New Mexico! :)
